Description
Peter Gabriel So RARE TEST PRESS White Labels for 1st UK Press 1986 Vinyl LP EX/NM. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class, FREE postage for UK buyers (not including Channel Islands).
The classic Peter Gabriel album has been part of my personal record collection since 1986, and it has been very well looked after since it has been housed in a plastic sleeve from the day the owner of my then local record shop gave it to me for my loyalty over the years (I must have spent thousands of pounds there!). I seem to remember he said that as this is a promotional issue, it couldn't be sold but had to be given away, probably for marketing purposes I would think.
Sleeve is in amazing conditions and shows the bottom corners very lightly rubbed and the slightest storage wear. Spine is fully legible and overall sleeve is in EX if not NM conditions.
Vinyl is in excellent conditions and shows few very difficult to see small hairlines on both sides (sown in pictures), these though do not affect playback which is of high quality. I have recently listened to it and playback was great with the record having minimal background/playback noise and in some parts it is so low that is virtually inaudible. All in all the vinyl is in EX conditions.
This album also comes with its original printed lyric sheet/inner sleeve which is in excellent conditions.

As I said this is a RARE test press and has blank white labels on both sides, certainly something that a collector would find desirable.
I will ensure vinyl is cleaned after the sale so that the new owner can enjoy an even better sound quality.
