Description
Pete Best releases this album in 1966 with that GREAT cover photo but not much fanfare. Later on it became highly collectible and sought after actually being bootlegged for a time to rob collectors thinking they were getting an authentic pressing. This is a genuine pressing. The record does play OK (sounds like the soundtrack to a B teen movie from the 60s) and the cover has definite wear all around with a little of this and a little of that (residue, split, etc.). Please observe the provided photos for your condition concerns as I’m being very upfront here as always. It’s a bit beat up but still worthy for the right price. Poor Pete. I always wondered how he really felt about being fired but I guess it all worked out for him in the long run.
I have many of these “satellite” type releases in lesser condition being up and running on eBay along with this one. If you’re looking to fill a few holes in the catalogue and don’t want to pay for premium condition in regards to these offshoot collectibles please do check in at my other listings and as always, combined shipping is offered.
Selling a big part of my personal collection accrued over 5 decades. Will be listing a few auctions a week. Many very rare BEATLES and related items among other artists. Please check in from time to time and see what Rarities and odd pressing I’ve listed from this extensive collection.
The small print: Unfortunately I’ve been getting winning bidders who have no intention of paying for their won items. I must request that payment be made within 48 hours of the auction ending or at least send a simple and brief note letting me know that your payment will be made when able. I’m very flexible in that regard and I just want to know I have a sincere winner. Thank you for your understanding.
