Perikli Perikles - Mandubala
A totally unknown and fantastic album here. Greek vocals and melodies, but mostly in cosmic funk disco style, with crazy production incorporating synths and traditional instruments along with modern 1970s sounds. Many great tunes. As far as I can tell this is all sung in Greek, with male and female vocals. Some other songs also sound a bit like Aris San's instrumental workouts. Lots of cool moments for sampling, and definitely an open break or two. Tons of fantastic stuff here – a totally under-the-radar record that is waiting to be discovered. Check out a sample below!
Disco '79 6001, Turkey, 1970s
Vinyl Condition: EX. A few light marks visible under bright light. A side label has a small tear, see photo. I have noticed this with other Turkish pressings and I don't think this is from wear.
Cover Condition: EX, extremely nice condition for any Turkish pressing.

• All items are professionally packaged. Records are shipped inside poly outer sleeves.
• 12" records are shipped with the record inside the inner sleeve, outside of the the outer jacket, to prevent seam splits.
• 7" records are shipped inside a separate plain sleeve to prevent seam splits to picture sleeves.
• I use "styrofoam sandwich" packing, the best for avoiding bends, corner bumps, and moisture. However, I am happy to accommodate any reasonable shipping requests (such as cardboard mailers.) Please just ask before you pay! I have worked as an international art shipper for a gallery, and I am familiar with a variety of safe shipping methods.
