ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This handsome LP – a superb collector’s copy – from Hungaroton (SLPD 12574, Hungarian pressing, yellow label, DDD stereo, insert included) entitled “Cello Encores” features the great cellist Miklos Perenyi, partnered with pianist Zoltan Kocsis no less, in a dazzling and poetic program, warmly recorded in Budapest during 23-27 January 1985. Their program includes an intriguing mix of familiar works and rarities, including one arrangement by Kocsis himself, all brought off with tremendous personality and flair – this is masterful playing by any measure and all those who treasure the art of the cello will find much to captivate here.

CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is near-MINT. Really, the flaws are quite minor – some extremely minor bumping at corners, as well as the trace remains of a former price sticker on the rear panel, but that is all. The album is without seamsplits, or owners' markings and the whole remains solid, bright, glossy, and very striking in appearance – overall, a superb collector's copy.
The condition of the LP itself is similarly near-MINT – a lovely collector's copy.
