Description
This is the rare and sought after original 1977 US Capitol release of Thrillington. This has been in my collection for years, and has been taken care of very well.
The matrix number is ST-11642.
The record is in VERY GOOD+++ condition. I really want to call this near mint, but the little bit of dust on the grooves keeps me from doing this. Playing through the entire record, I encountered one small blockage in the a groove on side one which I was able to get out.
Now the record plays PERFECTLY. The most you'll get is the occasional single crackle, but like a fleeting expletive on the evening news, you'll ignore it.
Seriously though, this is about as good as it gets for this record. If you give it a careful cleaning, I would have no problems rating it near mint.
The jacket is in VERY GOOD++ condition. On first inspection, most would probably consider this near mint for a promo punch-out release, but there are a few teensy-tiny speckles of missing paper and some extremely minor ring wear. Honestly, if you weren't looking for these, you probably wouldn't see them.
The original circle-punched inner sleeve is included in VERY GOOD+ condition. it has two creased corners, but is otherwise in fantastic condition. Always good to keep the original sleeve paired with the record, especially for promos.
The record will be shipped in a new, high quality, plastic lined inner sleeve for safety.
The original inner sleeve is included, but will not be used to transport the record.
This is a really cool album, re-imagining the entire Ram album in several genres and styles, plus being a first pressing promo, this has some real historical value.
Shipped via USPS Media Mail.
