Up for auction is the super rare Pearl Jam "Avocado" (self-titled) LP, from 2006.
Double LP with a beautiful gatefold and the original booklet! The vinyl itself is NM- with the slightest of paper scuffs. Listened to a handful of times at most. The booklet is pristine. The case is another story (see below for more info). I have included pictures to best show the "dents" in the corner; one on the spine side, which is smashed in, and one on the other corner, which is relatively minor. I can't sell something this rare without pointing those issues out. You will be pleased overall, but if the sleeve being perfect is an issue, be warned.
I promise you, this is an original pressing! (I have seen the crappy reissues on here with the blue vinyl, which I assume are illegal, but fear not...!) And I even have a story behind it- I bought this in the fall of 2006 at Generation Records in the city. It was not under "P" but rather "X", as if someone hid it. I picked it up, and saw the damaged corners, but figured, what the hey. Little did I know I was finding a gem of an album.
Anyhow, I am selling it off as I am a musician and need to raise both tour funds and money for a new guitar.
