Description
Two hundred fifty people in a room. Direct-to-acetate. Jack White walks onstage with a guitar and doesn't leave for seven minutes.
This is Vault Package #29 from Third Man Records — Pearl Jam's secret June 9, 2016 performance in the Nashville Blue Room, pressed as a limited-edition black-and-gold split-color 12" LP on Third Man Records (TMR-388). Only available through Third Man's Platinum Vault Subscription, long since discontinued and out of print.
The LP features nine tracks captured direct-to-acetate by engineer Vance Powell: deep cuts like "Pendulum" and "Hard to Imagine" sit alongside fan staples "Mind Your Manners" and "Deep" from Ten. The set-closing "Let Me Sleep" — originally recorded in 1990 as the band's first Ten Club release — is a genuine rarity in any live setting. The centerpiece is Side B's "Of the Earth," a seven-plus-minute jam with Jack White trading solos with Mike McCready that left 250 people speechless.
The 7" single is Eddie Vedder's solo acoustic track "Out of Sand," pressed on clear transparent vinyl — a Vault-exclusive recording not available anywhere else.
A 1" metal Pearl Jam @ TMR lapel pin, and a 3" circular gold-thread embroidered patch.
NOTE: The package was supposed to include a 9"×6" hardcover photo book documenting the evening (photography by Jamie Goodsell), however, I must have misplaced it because I can't find it. So it is NOT included.
My copy has never been played and stored upright in a climate-controlled, smoke-free room. LP and 7" are Near Mint with no scratches, skips, or surface noise. Gatefold jacket is clean with no ring wear or splits. Discs, pin, and patch are all present and in excellent condition.
