Description
This auction is for the rarest Paul Weller / Style Council item, King Truman "Like A Gun"
Released on UK Acid Jazz records in on Monday 30th January 1989. Cat No JAZID9T. Recently featured in Record Collector as one of the rarest records of the last 20 years. Adding to it's rarity and value, it comes with the original Press / Information sheet. Record is in Excellent ++ condition with just a faint line on the B side(Not a Scratch)

The story is that Paul Weller recorded "Like A Gun" while still under contract with Polydor, so released the single under the psuedonym "King Truman". The record company got wind of this and forced the withdrawal and recall of the single on the day of release. It is believed a maximum of 300 ever 'escaped'
