- Title side reads: "Victor presents Paul Whiteman and his Troupe in a Night of Entertainment at the Biltmore."
- Recorded December 1932. Released February 1933
- Estimated Condition VG / 8 or 9

- Great condition considering it's age and rarity

-some very, very light scratches (3 or 4) which have to be looked at closely to see

-outer edge has some very slight chips, they do not come close to the record groove or even the printed picture

-notice some cracking of the label around the very center of Side 1. There is 1, much smaller crack in the very center of the label on side 2.

"Friday night, December 2, 1932, found Paul Whiteman and his Orchestra catering to the genteel crowd at New York's Biltmore Hotel. What has been preserved for posterity is a fast-paced recorded medley of twelve selections which runs just under ten minutes and was designed by Victor to neatly fit on both sides of a twelve-inch 78 rpm disc. Rich in memory and variety, Whiteman's medley includes such early signature pieces as "Whispering," "Japanese Sandman," and "When Day Is Done." Also to be heard is "Mississippi Mud," a onetime specialty of Bing Crosby, Harry Barris and Al Rinker, but performed here by a reconstituted Rhythm Boys, the original group having long since departed. Sandwiched between "When Day Is Done" and "Sweet Sue" is a truncated "St. Louis Blues" running to slightly over one minute and including the tango introduction and two statements of the second blues chorus. Despite its relative brevity, this rendition captures very well the vocal of Irene Taylor, who does a creditable job of imitating the nuances of a black-inflected bluesy sound." - Joshua Berret: "Louis Armstrong and Paul Whiteman: Two Kings of Jazz"
