Wings     "Wings Greatest"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Capitol SOO-11905 from 1978.      This was Paul McCartney & Wings first US greatest hits album.     It is an advance promo issue release in November, 1978.       The labels are all white with black printing.        The labels do not list the songs, which are the same as stock issue.       The labels say " Test Pressing  Not For Sale".        It comes in a plain white cover with holes in the center, so you can see the labels.      

The matrix numbers are hand etched : Side 1 : SOO-1-11905  F9 and Side 2 : SOO-2-11905  F10 and "Mastered By Capitol" is machine stamped on both sides.         In the Perry Cox & Frank Daniels Beatles Price Guide this is CAP 11905.DJ1.  

The songs are : Another Day, Silly Love Songs, Live And Let Die, Junior's Farm, With A Little Luck, Band On The Run, Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey, Hi Hi Hi, Let 'Em In, My Love, Jet, and Mull Of Kintyre.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M /  Record is M-

The cover is mint with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits.           The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint, with very slight handling marks.       The labels are clean with no spindle marks.       The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.        I will pay for 'signature security' for a US winner.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 7 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are NO handling charges.     This record will weigh 23 ounces when ready to ship.      US winners can choose between Media mail or Priority mail.      I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday).
