Description

Paul McCartney - Take It Away 12" vinyl TEST PRESSING

EMI UK / stamped 7 Jun 1982

R6056A (no B side is present)

Please note this is a single sided pressing of the A side only, with a single song on one side and a blank reverse side. There is no B side record present.

Very rare, this would have been pressed in a set of about 4-5 discs to check the press quality before production. I have listened to it only to verify the track and while it sounded great, I offer no opinion as to whether it is of an improved sonic quality when compared to a standard pressing

It appears to have been played little and outside of a little dust accumulated from the last -almost 40 years- it remains in exceptional condition and I would rate it as a Near Mint copy. Supplied with original paper sleeve as shown in the images.

Please see the images as they are of the actual record for sale.

The Matrix numbers on the runout read:

Side 1: R6056 A-1U-1-1-1

Reverse side: LPFB3 *A number 3 is also stamped vertically on the runout

** Overseas buyers please note that Import duties, taxes & charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility, so please check with your country’s customs office before buying, to determine what additional costs may/may not be included.

Please don’t request to undervalue the item on the Customs form. This is not possible because the declared value is the maximum claim amount possible in any insurance claim, and your record will not be shipped without proper insurance.?

* EU buyers please note that from January 1/2021, Britain’s exit from the EU has made international shipping considerably more challenging, made even more so by the lack of clarity in some areas. Delays are occurring and buyers both in the EU and Britain are being surprised by new import duties and fees. Please do your homework before bidding/buying to assess whether you should expect these as per the point below.
