This NEAR MINT UK 1st pressing dates from the album's initial release in May 1970

It bears the distinctive dark green Apple Records label: PAS 10003

Matrix numbers: YEX 837-1 & YEX 838-1

Housed in a pristine heavy card, fully laminated (inside & out) UK printed gatefold cover.

Complete with its original 'Apple Copyright' worded inner-sleeve.

A richly coloured, clean & unworn set with just a small handful of faint spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are totally unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight. Closer examination in strong daylight reveals nothing more than a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines and no scratches, scuffs or any other surface wear whatsoever. Both sides of this outstanding orignal copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound quality: MINT

This superb sounding copy has received just a handful of careful plays on high-end and as a result, the sound is flawless throughout. My single careful play-check detected no trace of any groove/playwear distortion on any track or in either channel. All songs are also completely free from any background interference, clicks, ticks or any other audible distraction.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A vivid & vibrant example which is completely unworn and undamaged having been carefully stored in a non-smoking environment these past 40 years. Both front and rear panels are clean & unscratched and undented with the only blemish a bend in the laminate towards the rear lower left corner. however, all corners themselves are sharp and unworn and both opening edges are perfect. The inside of the gatefold is pristine and all seams and the fully laminated/worded spine are all completely unworn and undamaged.

Clean & flat with just an unavoidable light disc impression but certainly no writing, tears or seam splits.
