Paul McCartney - Off The Ground Parlophone Label - 25227 1993 Venezuela First Pressing on Black Vinyl
This listing is for a super rare near mint copy of a Venezuela first pressing of Paul's ninth solo album Off The Ground.  Very much under rated and released during a period of probably his lowest popularity and coupled with that the rise of CD's, vinyl pressings of this album from any country are difficult to find and increasingly expensive.  To find a mint copy from Venezuela is a real peach of a find and a great addition to any McCartney/Beatles collection.
I am very tempted to add this to my collection as my partner and I are huge Beatles fans, but having already owned a nice UK original I thought I should sell this on, but only for the right price.
The record is in wonderful condition and very tight on the spindle, leading me to believe it has not been played before.  I did play it through to test it and enjoyed it a lot, wonderful sounding and as good as the UK pressing.  Hope Of Deliverance is one of my favourite tracks at the moment, beautiful and very much of the times now.
I imported this and 2 other albums from a record store in Caracas, wish I could have picked them up in person.  The other 2 items are a sealed copy of Tripping The Live Fantastic and a Venezuela unique compilation Denny Laine, Paul McCartney & Friends - both will be appearing in my other items.
South American releases like these are very rarely found in the UK and Europe so dont gamble like I did and buy in confidence and get these beauties in your collection, before I change my mind.

All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players.  Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - NM With mint being reserved for sealed records this is as close to mint you will find.  No scratches or marks on the record and a stunning glossy finish, save for a few bits of dust from storage.  Labels are in equally perfect condition showing little or no signs of being played.
Record Audio - NM Unsurprisingly considering the condition there is no surface noise save for the odd spec of dust.  I am not keen on hand cleaning records I am selling as I am very clumsy and it is a personal choice on which method to use.  Great full rich sound and clarity very much on par with the UK first pressing I also own.
Record Sleeve - VG+/NM Very close to Near Mint the only flaw being where the laminate on the sleeve has started to discolour with age on the top front part of the cover.  Being a white border it does highlight this unfortunately.  Apart from that the cover is in great physical condition with no visible shelf wear and no ring wear even under a bright light.  The record is stored in a polythene anti-static sleeve which is in good condition.  The posted and lyrics sheet are present and in excellent condition with no rips.  Unfortunately the lyrics sheet does have some discolouration from age related storage.  It may clean up but I do not want to attempt this.
