CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A wonderfully rich and clean set with just a small number of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from two light fingernail marks on the edge of side 2 are unblemished in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a small number of harmless wispy paper hairlines but no further marks or wear whatsoever.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received just a small number of extremely careful plays on top-quality equipment. My careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear distortion on any track or in either channel. In fact, apart from a hint of light/normal vinyl background on the quiter passages and between tracks, there is nothing to fault soundwise.
Cover
EXCELLENT
Such a difficult cover to find in this condition but this one was stored all its life within a plastic cover and is subsequently free from any rubbing or damage to the high-gloss laminate finish. The front panel bears just two tiny spine wrinkles and a single one on the top edge but no other traces or creasing or wear. The rear is just as nice with only a single small wrinkle and a faint disc impression, but no other signs or wear at all. Inside is immaculate and has, by the sound of it, been rarely opened. Every corner is sharp & square and free from any bumps or bruising and all opening edges are razor sharp & unworn. The spine is a little squashed but fully laminated and worded and all seans are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Clean & flat with some light handling wrinkles and a small repair towards the lower edge, but no writing or splits to any seam.
