This is a nice copy of this LP. THIS IS A VERY RARE LP.
Up for sale is one(1) Paul McCartney - McCartney LP from 1970 on Apple Records (#STAO 3363).
This is AN ORIGINAL / FIRST PRESSING WITH THE FOLLOWING MISPRINT / ERRORS:
Paul McCartney's name misspelled as Mc Cartney on both labels (there should NOT be a space),
LP title of McCartney misspelled as Mc Cartney on both labels (there should NOT be a space),
"Oo You" listed on the cover but misspelled as "Ooh You" on the Side 2 label.
THIS IS A SUPER RARE LABEL MISPRINT VERSION. The errors were quickly corrected on future pressings.
This is his first solo LP after leaving the Beatles. I recently played this LP and it sounds AWESOME.
The vinyl is in Good+ condition but has some visual surface marks that may cause some surface noise and you may hear some pops and clicks along the way. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
The sturdy gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, fade spots, some spine peeling and ring wear, etc.... There is a small split seam at the top.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in great shape.
Nice fairly clean Apple labels. Comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
THE WHOLE PACKAGE IS IN GREAT SHAPE.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day. Not played in over 35 years. I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME.
