Patto ORIG US LP Hold your fire EX '71 Vertigo Swirl VEL1008 Prog Rock
Original 1st Press US LP released in 1971 on the Vertigo Swirl Label. Cat: VEL-1008. Comes in a gatefold sleeve.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.
Three albums and out, Patto (named after vocalist Mike Patto) were highly regarded on the British rock scene in the '70s. The key point of the band was probably the superb guitar work of the eminently flexible Ollie Halsall, a performer whose session work was highly prized, even though the guitarist seemed hesitant to step into the spotlight. Patto performed a stately mix of jazz-rock with a little bit of blues.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause some light crackles and is in Excellent condition. gGatefold cover has a small deletion cut on bottom right corner, a light water mark runinng down top edge of spine, scuffing on corners, and a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post standard airrmail with tracking number.
