Recorded January 30, 1976 at the Roxy in Los Angeles, California.
Widely considered PSG's best live recording, "Teenage Perversity" is also Patti Smith's personal favorite. In her first major publication in 1978, "Babel", Smith listed it as one of her major label releases.

Vinyl in in NM condition. Nice luster. No hairline or visible scratches. Plays beautifully all the way through with no skips, pops and minimal surface noise. Cover is in VG+ condition. Shows no ring wear and is very nice except for light shelf wear and a two inch split to the blank unprinted spine. Shows surprisingly little yellowing or discoloration for it's age. Light round dime sized sticker spot at top right corner (see scans). Obviously, a very loved and well cared for 40 year old recording on vinyl!

There are a number of fine Patti Smith bootlegs, but this one -- taken from a January 1976 show at the Roxy in Los Angeles, with near-perfect fidelity -- is both her best and her best-known. Besides incendiary versions of several songs from her first few LPs, it features covers of "Louie Louie," "My Generation" (with John Cale guesting), and The Velvet Underground's "We're Gonna Have a Good Time Together" and "Pale Blue Eyes," as well as entertaining between-song raps and even a brief cameo by Iggy Pop.
