Description

An original 1st press of EASTER on UK Artista. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'Bilbo'. Take a close look at the labels and you will notice the type setters seem to have had a real aversion to capital letters! There are literally no capital letters at all on the initial copies - this appears to have been the original aesthetic they wanted. It wouldn't take long for a company executive to take a look at this layout and have a heart attack! For the next batch they would capitalise letters and change the side indicators to 1 & 2 instead of a & b. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover FULLY laminated cover using heavy card stock. Lyric sheet is present. Original Inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Beautifully preserved and has only seen the very lightest use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Really quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. You are gonna struggle beating this copy. All I could detect was a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. Nothing remotely upfront or persistent. And one solitary click in 'We Three'. It is a stellar performer. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex+) Jeees Louise...this cover is in ridiculous condition. The 1st copies are quality - but this example is so well preserved it is a joke. The front is totally flat with no sign of light fade, or even a single crease. LIKE A MIRROR. The rear is equally good - it is so pristine you'd swear it was printed yesterday. No edge wear at all and sharp openings - like I said...unbeleivable. The spine is 100% perfect without compression or wear at all. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Literally unbeatable. FINAL UPGRADE,
