Description

An original 1st press of EASTER on UK Artista. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'Bilbo'. Take a close look at the labels and you will notice the type setters seem to have had a real aversion to capital letters! There are literally no capital letters at all on the initial copies - this appears to have been the original aesthetic they wanted. It wouldn't take long for an executive to take a look at this layout and have a heart attack! For the next batch they would capitalise letters and change the side indicators to 1 & 2 instead of a & b. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover FULLY laminated cover using heavy card stock. Lyric sheet is present.
Vinyl (Ex) Very well preserved and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback with just minor deviation in one spot. Nice quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. A touch of light presence in a couple of the quietest... Otherwise superb.
Cover (Ex) In great condition with a lovely shiny and flat front and rear. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. Spine is 100%. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Lyric/Poster (Vg+) Lightly aged. But otherwise aok.
