Description

For your consideration is a near mint copy of the classic audiophile release “Café Blue” by Patricia Barber.  This set is a 5 sided 45RPM set on 3 LPs with the 6thside blank.  It was half-speed mastered and produced by the professionals at Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs from the master tapes from this recording session.  LP sound does not get better than this.  This set is #01433.  I am an audiophile with a high end resolving system and I have listened to it entirely this past week, and have play graded it as near mint.  The background of both sides is essentially silent.  The labels have no spindle mark issues, and the box and 12 x 12 inch booklet are all near mint and without flaws.  It has been cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. 

 

I have been an eBay member for almost 20 years, regularly selling items with perfect feedback, but I have not listed LPs until last spring.  At that time I sold many audiophile titles and Japanese Blue Note LPs, all of which were listed as NM, and I received nothing but positive feedback.   I have no interest in becoming an LP reseller, and will only list LPs that have been in my collection and that are in near mint or better condition.  I have no interest in overgrading LPs and getting into disputes about what is and isn't near mint.  The condition of this LP is not in question.  I am planning to list a few LPs per week over the next several months including some additional Japanese Blue Note Jazz releases, so please stop by again to see what I will list next week.
