Description
I am the original owner. I was a DJ at my small high school during the mid 60's and was on "the list" that received promotional records. Records were sent to me directly from the manufacturer and many were never played. After graduation, in the summer of 1965, I did not do any more DJing because I was at university and then a career in engineering. This record has never been played and has been carefully stored for over fifty years.
Near Mint or better . This record has never been played, since it arrived in November 1966 when I was at university and I had stopped DJing.
The tracks on this record are “Love And Desire” and “Ecstasy”. The record is flawlessly and has not been played to maintain its unplayed quality.The vinyl is glossy and looks as if it was just pressed yesterday. The labels are crisp and clean but have some bubbles. It will come to you in the original Capitol Records sleeve that is in excellent condition. This record is an original 1st pressing, and would make a great addition to any Northern Soul collection.
Sometimes original commercial copies are exceedingly rarer than even the first promo's and this is one of those cases. In past there have been more of the promo records sold than of the commercial copy.
