Description

Parlophone single, The Beatles, Day Tripper/ We Can Work it Out. Multi Coloured. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter.  I have not played this in about 30 years.  From memory the sound quality is quite rustic though enjoyable.  It is multicoloured which makes it quite rare I think.  There is a big hole in the centre probably because it came from a Duke Box I think.  I used to use a spacer to play this on a standard record player.

As a student in about 1980, I bought about 100 records for £2 ish.  Most were rubbish and ended up flying through the air like freebies one drunken night in my hall of residence.  The next morning the lawn outside was covered with 7 inch discs that landed like shards of glass.  This single was one of about three that I kept and kept playing.  I'm not sure, but as a duke box record I think it was deeper cut to stress certain frequencies, making it more suited to pub type acoustics, an atmosphere that I liked.
