WHAT IS THIS? For the next few weeks, I'll be auctioning off some vinyl from my record collection. I've been collecting for years so many of the albums I list are going to be from all genres of music. This week in particular, I'm focusing on some of my Hip-Hop collection as well as a few pop/dance titles thrown in. I take care of my records and clean using a VPI record cleaning machine with Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Cleaner and rinse
What you are seeing in this listing is for a lot of 2 Paris albums. The first title is The Devil Made Me Do It. This is the rare original 1989 release and the sleeve is VG and the vinyl is VG+. It's pretty hard to find this release in nice shape. The second record is Guerrilla Funk released in 1994 and the sleeve is VG and the Vinyl is VG+/NM. If you're a fan of early to mid-90's hip-hop, Paris was one of those politicized rappers who's influence from the Nation of Islam and the black panther movement can be heard. He went on to found Scarface records. Seriously one of hip-hop's underrated talents.
