The Beatles "Hey Jude" LP UK 1st press issued in 1969, CPCS 106 on Apple Records
This LP has 1 of 2 title label errors, listing Paper Back Writer on side 1. This is the rare 2nd release of the first press from 1969. There was 3 releases of this and the first 2 were not even released in the UK even though pressed in the UK. The first 2 releases were the ones with the misprint errors and the dark green apple labels. This one is where they fixed (Revolutions) and forgot to fix (Paper Back Writer). Causing them to do a 3rd pressing of this with all the corrections and on a light green apple label.
Vinyl is play graded EX. Listened to both sides fully and it sounds amazing with no background noise. Does not have any scratches or scuffs or spindle wear. It's shiny and glossy and looks hardly played. Only flaw is the writing on the label from the previous owner which visually would make it a vg+
Cover is in VG condition, shiny and glossy laminated cover. Has a small tear along the insert in the middle edge on the back side. Does not have tape or anything on it. Has original pricing sticker on the front. Spine is great and legible.
