Description
This is a rare 1978 self-titled debut album from the group Pages, featuring the talents of Richard Page and Steve George, who later went on to form Mr. Mister. This specific copy is a highly collectible 'Demonstration Not For Sale' promo edition, distinguished by the white Epic labels and the 'Special Value' sticker on the front cover. The album is a masterclass in late 70s Jazz Rock and Yacht Rock fusion, produced by Bobby Colomby and featuring an incredible roster of session musicians including Dave Grusin, Michael Brecker, and Victor Feldman.
The tracklist showcases the band's sophisticated songwriting with highlights such as 'Clearly Kim,' 'Listen For The Love,' and 'If I Saw You Again.' Pressed at 33 ⅓ RPM, this 12-inch vinyl record represents a pivotal moment in the West Coast AOR scene. The album comes with its original lyric inner sleeve, providing the full context for this polished production. A must-have for collectors of high-quality 1970s studio craftsmanship and fans of the evolving smooth rock sound of the era.
