It is a pleasure to offer this real reasure of classical records for sale! One of the best and rarest pressings on the heavily in demand SXL series, recently sold here on ebay (VG++/NM) for almost $700. So, what about this item's condition:

Cover: Prior owner has attached a litle tape on te bottom part of the cover, close to the opening. I have tried to remove a little part, which worked perfectly fine, leaving no doscoloration. I am quite convinced the rest of the tape can be removed in a similar manner, leaving no damage to this nice sleeve. Aside from this, the cover is in beautiful shape, no writing, no tears, no ringwear... So, I guess EX- would be correct, and the cover will probably easily be upgraded to EX.

Record: A beautiful shine in this record. Side 1 has a great shine, would probably be graded to a NM- or an EX, if it wasn't for one more significant line. The line starts in the middle of track one, and goes in an almost direct line to the latter part of the last track. This line can be, if you listen closely, be heard when listening to the record, hence, this line has a lessening effect on the audible value ot the record. This side, due to this line, deserves a grading of VG+.

Side 2 looks visually to be NM-, when watching under a strong light, showing maybe a few, almost invisible, hairlines.

Comes with the original innercover.

Backside of the cover is peurely black/white, no colour in print. Haven't seen a copy like this before (...but I have seen a couple of copies with partially red coloure i the writing on some of the text on the back). See picture 2. Somehow, this rare record must have come in two different (cover) editions.

Good luck bidding!

If not satisfied, full guarantee from one month after receiving the record. (buyer has to pay for paypalcost and shipment cost including sending it back to me)

I will now start selling records on eBay, though I'm not new in the business. I have been collecting records now for two decades and been selling for more than fifteen years (recordfairs). I have been selling on internet on the Norwegian netauction site www.qxl.no for several years and have a 100 % positive feedback (been selling more than 3000 items, and almost 2900 positive feedbacks). You are welcome to check my feedback on qxl (www.qxl.no), check seller dypkrypt.

Reason why I start to sell on eBay is since I have masses of rare records that deserve to be presented for an international audience. First and foremost it is Scandinavian rarities, Norwegian rare pressings of international artists/bands, jazz and finally, rare classical records. I have been an active collector of  rare classical records for years and have a large collection of some of the most exclusive pressings, like stereo pressings from the fifties and early sixties (Decca SXL series, Columbia, HMV, rare French pressings etc).

Although new on eBay, I have some dedicated customers in countries like Japan.(selling bulks of rare Scandinavian pressings of beat, jazz, latin etc)

This is though the first time I am selling classical records so you can expect some real goodies in the time to come.
