CONDITION DETAILS Import from Spain. Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Laminated cover has a few creases, very light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is plastic. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Fuente y Caudal by Paco de Lucía is a landmark flamenco album that showcases the guitarist's extraordinary technical prowess through blistering plucks, intricate rhythms, and passionate melodies across eight instrumental tracks blending traditional forms with innovative elements. It stands as a historically significant work for helping pioneer nuevo flamenco by incorporating non-traditional instruments like electric bass and bongos, moving beyond strict conventions and influencing the genre's evolution beyond its cultural roots while becoming one of Spain's best-selling records for several months and even serving as a soundtrack element during the country's transition to democracy. Unique aspects include the title track's demanding taranta composition and the fact that the opening rumba was reportedly improvised in the studio as filler to complete the recording. Fan-favorites and standout pieces include the energetic rumba Entre dos aguas, the masterful bulería Cepa Andaluza, along with Solera and Fuente y Caudal itself.
