This item is the five-album commemorative release of the music of Pablo Casals. The records contain the following material:
Legendary Casals Recordings Made in the 1920's and 1930's for EMI, Including:
Beethoven, Boccherini, Brahms, Cassado, Haydn, Tartini, Valentini, and Vivaldi
Plus Casals Recordings From Famous Festivals:
The 1952 Casals Festival at Prades, France: Schubert
The 1953 Casals Festival at Padres, France: Schumann
The 1969 Festival at Marlboro, Vermont: Brahms

"Casals: Musician of the Century" A Unique 12-inch LP Sound Document Casals, in his own words, telling about his life in music, his quest for world peace; excerpts from his master classes at the University of California at Berkley; rehearsals with the Marlboro Festival Orchestra; and more.
Also includes Casals discography and 24-page booklet with text from Joys and Sorrows by Pablo Casals, as told to Albert E Kahn.
This album is new and factory sealed. I cannot be responsible for the quality or condition of the contents however. There are some breaks in the shrink wrap, particularly on the bottom, and a few minor stain spots on the box. It is definitely still sealed however.
