Description

 Pyramids - King of Kings

Up for auction is a crazy rare afro, free jazz LP from 1974 on Pyramid Records. 

Tracks are Mogho Naba (King of Kings), Queen of the Spirits, Nsorama (The Stars), and My Africa.

The Pyramids are:
IDRIS ACKAMOOR aka BRUCE BAKER: alto sax, beilophone, talking drums, calypso bass
MARGO ACKAMOOR: flute, percussions
KWAME KIMATHI ASANTE aka THOMAS WILLIAMS: bass, Uganda harp, percussions
HEKAPTAH aka BRADIE SPELLER: conga drums, percussions
DONALD ROBINSON: drums, bongos, congas, percussions
JEROME SAUNDERS: piano, percussions
CHRIS CHAFE: cello
Vocals by THE PYRAMIDS
The sessions have been recorded at Appalachia Sound Recording Studio, Chillicothe, Ohio in march, 1974.

The cover and record are in great VG+ shape.  The only thing worth mentioning is that there are three pieces of transparent tape on the cover, formerly holding a library-check-out type pocket.  Don't let this one get away!
