Artist: Buzzcocks
Format: 12” pressing of the album ‘Love Bites’. This is a super rare copy fully signed by the classic line of the band including:
· Steve Diggle – vocals, guitar (1977–1981, 1989–present); bass (1976–1977). Steve has signed at 7 o’clock on the front panel in a fine navy black biro-style pen and is graded 8/10 for ink coverage and definition.
· Pete Shelley – vocals, guitar (1976–1981, 1989–2018; died 2018). Pete has signed at 6 o’clock on the front panel in a fine navy black biro-style pen and is graded 7.5/10 for ink coverage and definition.
· John Maher – drums (1976–1981, 1989, 1992, 2012). John has signed at 9 o’clock on the front panel in a fine navy-blue biro-style pen and is graded 9/10 for ink coverage and definition.
· Steve Garvey – bass (1977–1981, 1989–1992, 2012): Steve has signed at 3 o’clock on the front panel in a fine navy-blue biro-style pen and is graded 8/10 for ink coverage and definition.

Condition: inner sleeve and record is ungraded, as this album sold in the thousands, and peaked at number 13 on the UK Albums Chart at the time of its release, making Love Bites their highest-charting album. The value is in the super-rare, signed sleeve, and graded solely on this basis. The soft matt card single sleeve has moderate grubbiness and age-yellowing and has been well-handled, with moderate rubbing and ring wear present. I would grade the actual sleeve as good plus (+) condition, but this is massively lifted by the stunning and clear set of signatures, and this is absolutely a record sleeve that will look amazing mounted, framed and glazed! (see photo’s).
Provenance: part of a large bundle of items sold via Omega Auctions in Lot 307 on 19.11.24.
