Format: 12” single vinyl album in single sleeve. Super rare fully signed Joe Jackson and backing band line up from 1979! Includes the following signatures on the rear of the sleeve:
Joe Jackson (vocals, piano, guitar): Joe has signed ‘Love & Kisses Joe Jackson’ to the right of his image in a fine black biro-style pen. Signature is graded 9/10 for ink coverage and definition.
Graham Maby (bass): Graham has signed in a speech bubble above Joe’s image ‘That’s me? Graham’ in a fine black biro-style pen. Signature is graded 9/10 for ink coverage and definition.
Gary Sanford (guitar): Gary has signed his name to the right of Joe’s image in a fine black biro-style pen. Signature is graded 9/10 for ink coverage and definition.
Dave Houghton (drums): Dave has signed ‘Peace & Luv Man! Dave Houghton’ near the centre of the sleeve in a fine black biro-style pen. Signature is graded 9/10 for ink coverage and definition.
Condition: Poly-lined WH Smith inner sleeve are ungraded – this record surprisingly was not a big seller and peaked at number 40 on the UK charts in 1979. The intrinsic value is within the super rare full set of signatures and there my focus is on the grading of the outer sleeve. The sleeve has minor creasing, moderate age yellowing to the soft textured card sleeve and minor grubbiness and minor rubbing. The spine edge on the front cover has a minor brown mark noticeable on the lighter area of the lower sleeve. This marking is more noticeable on the rear of the sleeve and runs through the credits as a vertical mark, approx. 3cm from the sleeve right hand edge. This super rare set of signatures will look stunning mounted, framed and glazed! Outer sleeve is graded very good condition.
