See my other auction this week for another rare psych garage 45 by the group "Something Wild"! Here’s a very hard to find punk/garage 45 from 1966! This is by the Bakersfield band, the Avengers. The A side, “Be A Cave Man”, made into the Pebbles compilation series. It’s a tough punk tune with more than plenty of attitude… talking about dragging your woman around by her hair, and showing her who wears the pants… really politically correct stuff here! This is on the Star-burst label, number 125. Flip is "Broken Hearts Ahead". The record grades a decent VG with clean labels… plays great!
