PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED / SEX PISTOLS - PUBLIC IMAGE LTD:  - VIRGIN 1978 SINGLE IN PIC SLEEVE:   This is your chance to bid on this great vinyl single by the legendary PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED.   This single was issued in the UK on 13 October 1978 as the band's debut single on the VIRGIN label.   This was JOHN LYDON'S first release since leaving the SEX PISTOLS in January 1978. The tilte track had been written by LYDON whilst still in the Pistols.     The item for sale here is the UK single. It is housed however in the German sleeve which is different to the original UK sleeve. (This item was bought in San Francisco & I originally believed the sleeve to be American...but I now know it's German!)   Side A: PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED Side B: COWBOY SONG.   VINYL:  The vinyl is in excellent condition & is still bright & shiny.    PIC SLEEVE: The German PICTURE sleeve is in excellent condition. There is some slight creasing & edge wear but it is quite rare to find a punk sleeve of this vintage in such great condition.   Catalogue number - on record: VS 228, on sleeve: 100 067-100.
