Description

Up for auction is a beautiful copy of the Public Image Limited album "First Issue" originally released on Virgin Records (V2114) in the U.K. in 1978.  This is a guaranteed, authentic first U.K. pressing from 1978, not a cheap reissue, U.S. pressing, or Japanese reissue like most for sale on eBay.  Includes the rare original die-cut inner sleeve, which is in beautiful condition.  No UPC/bar code on cover.
Cover is in superb condition with virtually no signs of previous wear or handling.  No ring wear, no seam splits, no rubbing losses, just as you see in the photos.  Corners are sharp, not bumped though there is a tiny bit of rub on a couple corners, which you may not even notice, hardly worth mentioning.  Hard to imagine a nicer example of this cover.  Grade the cover Near Mint (NM).
The vinyl record is also in beautiful condition, no signs of previous handling or play.  Super shiny surfaces--they sparkle.  No scratches, no scuffs.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little, if any, previous play.  I've had this copy for over 30 years and never played it--archived safely.  Beautifully preserved copy.  Virtually impossible to upgrade.  Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying.  My 100% positive feedback allows you to buy with confidence.
