Description:
Seth Putnam is impossible to take seriously, no matter how much he really believes in all the spiteful lyrics he writes. I mean, even thinking of starting a project like Impaled Northern Moonforest is pretty much the easiest way to throw away any credibility you might once have had. And then we have his claim that Satan's Warriors, a Death Metal band he was in in the mid-1980s, was one of the first such groups to use blastbeats. Several demos were allegedly recorded but only one of those has actually surfaced, a 1988 recording which in 1994 constituted the second half of a split with Psycho. A cursory look at the songs will reveal two things - first, that Seth Putnam is indeed incapable of creating anything which can be taken seriously. Second, with the longest song being Psycho's "Crushed Genitales" (sic) at 2:09 and the split lasting less than 10 minutes... Doctor, Doctor, we have an acute case of the S.O.D. syndrome. Psycho's part is actually that which succeeds the most as Death Metal - it is grimy, primitive death/thrash somewhat reminiscent of Possessed. It does not reinvent the Death Metal wheel, sure, but it is a valid example of the genre... or, at least it would be if all but one song stopped before they even had gotten started. But who cares about Psycho? We are here to see the giraffe, and that giraffe is called Seth Putnam. This giraffe has, if the song titles are anything to judge by, written some supposedly funny lyrics, but the oinky-grunty-growly vocals obscure most of the lyrics. As such, the only songs where the humour is actually on display are "Chopped Jesus 69 Cents a Pound" (snicker) and - brace for impact - "Shoving The Rosary Beads Up Mother Theresa's Vagina". (chortle) And if you do not share Seth Putnam's brand of humour, well, then that is not much of a consolation either. Musically, what can be heard of Satan's Warriors here constitutes some sort of chaotic, punkish Death Metal very close to grindcore at times. Barely any songcraftmanship on display, sure, but it is actually somewhat competent at what it is.

For vinyl, I use cardboard record mailers from Uline or Bags Unlimited. Unsealed vinyl is taken out of the jacket before mailing, to avoid split seams.
CDs are mailed in bubble mailers.

For US buyers:
99% of the time I ship within 24 hours of payment.
I offer two shipping choices : First Class / Media Mail and Priority Mail. Choose appropriately when you pay. All orders come with tracking.
If you purchase multiple items, Media Mail is the cheapest way to go, but it's also the slowest. If you live in Washington, Oregon, or California, you should see the package within 1 week. For other regions, it should take about 7-14 days, but can take up to 30 days to arrive.

For Non-US buyers:
I mail International orders every other day.
The USPS offers Airmail only. Delivery time is supposed to be 5-14 business days. The reality is that your package can take up to 6 weeks or longer to arrive.
You are responsible for all customs taxes and duties.
Registered Mail is available for an extra charge, usually about $10-20. Your item can be tracked or traced, but will arrive slower.
The USPS has gotten better with international tracking. Item location is not updated every day, especially between the US port and your customs office. Some areas, especially in South America, do not track the package at all.
