Description
This is an original FIRST UK Vinyl Pressing of the 1968 self titled album by TRAFFIC
On Island Records 'Pink Label' with 'Orange Eye' logo as pictured. Reference ILPS 9081TA Matrices are A2//B5 - these are the earliest possible matrices Stereo pressing - THERE WERE NO MONOS so the label doesnt say one way or the other ...but its on the back of the sleeve
The Record - This is an EX+ , beautiful vinyl which has retained its sheen nicely, there are a couple of extremely light surface marks but I'm being picky, some would grade this higher. The labels are immaculate - not even any spindlewear!!
Inner Sleeve is Plain White, a tad discoloured but this is 48 years old
Outer sleeve is the original Gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse - still has the original 8 page booglet attached with all pages still stabled in place. Top flips on the inner gatefold. I would say this is a VG , Its made from good thick card, a little ringwear starting at the front and a little light wear to the edges. The main reason its not grading higher is the top rear of the sleeve which has a bit more ringwear - Ive focused a picture directly on this so you can see what I mean. Spine is nice and square and still perfectly readable.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet
or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
