Description
Protect Your Public Lands "Take Pride in America" Public Service Campaign Record, 1988. Pressed for radio use strictly under a limited time frame, and then meant to be destroyed. Sponsored by the Ad Council in conjunction with the U.S. Department of the Interior. This neat little slab of vinyl features PSA's from 3 Legendary Actors. Clint Eastwood, Lou Gossett, and Charles Bronson. I can't imagine that many of these survived, which should make for a tough to find collectable item here. It spins at 33 1/3, although it is the size of a 45. both A & B sides appear to play in the same identical sequence. I do not own a turntable to test it, but visually it appears as though it should play through nicely. The surface is still nice and glossy, but displays some moderate scuffing, most notably in the dead area of the vinyl. The labels are "bubbled" near the center on both sides with some discoloration occurring on the B- Side, which can be detected from the images provided. I have no clue as to the value of this item for you collectors out there, so I am starting it out at just $4.99. Winning bidder to pay an additional $3.00 to cover shipping costs.
