This is an original Chiswick 1979 Proof Sleeve of Machine Gun Etiquette by the Damned...

There's more Numbnuts because it also comes with the original Chiswick/EMI (?) White label Test Pressing.

So you are bidding on a piece of Punk Rock History!

A proof sleeve is typically an uncut sleeve made by the designer or printer to check quality and clarity prior to it being given the green light for the print run of the final album sleeves.

It also looks like it has been handled a lot, possibly by the printers. Either way they didn't do a great job of storing it.

SLEEVE: Take a good look at the pictures to see the wear to the edges of the proof sleeve.

VINYL: Record Plays excellent! (Not that you would want to be playing a piece of history like this too often)

This also bears the signatures of Rat Scabies and Roman Jugg.
