"PRONG - CLEANSING" 2013 EU limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies 12-track 180gr RED vinyl LP. On MUSIC ON VINYL label. Catalogue No: MOVLP768. Barcode: 8718469532773.

Prong’s distinctive industrial Metal sound influenced subsequent bands such as Korn and Nine Inch Nails. Former New York club CBGB’s soundman Tommy Victor founded Prong in 1987 as his outlet for sonic fury. Having their roots in the Thrash Metal and Hardcore scenes, Prong carved a niche for themselves – groovy, angry, massive; just perfect mosh music. The trio wrecked stages and impressed audiences all over the world. They built on their signature sound with this, their 4th full length album Cleansing (1994). Aptly titled, the album indeed cleansed their sound, resulting in 12 stripped down, highly effective musical precision bombs.

I grade the records visually but strictly. Gradings are according to UK Record Collector's magazine grading system. The standard condition categories and a description of what each ones means are listed below. Please take a look.

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or detorioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Thanks for looking! Please see my other auctions too!
