** A Rare Promo Copy With "NOT FOR SALE" Stamped on Back Cover! **
RThis is an original "flat edge" pressing. VG is stamped in the dead wax of this Deep Groove pressing to note that it was mastered by Rudy Van Gelder. Rare original Deep Groove mono pressing on the yellow & black label with the W 50th St. New York City address. Nice liner notes by Ira Gitler. With John Coltrane, Red Garland & Paul Chambers. Pressed on a nice thick slab of vinyl. (Etched Matrix Number: "PRLP-7094-A/B AB RVG").
COVER - VG
Five-inch top seam split. No creases, but some light stains here & there. Front cover looks pretty decent with slick lamination & great unfaded rich color. No cut-out marks. Hardly any ring wear. Illustration & print are sharp and are free of sun washout. Print on spine are still readable. Noticeable corner banging. Beautiful label is free of stickers, writing & scuffs. Sharp cut hole with faint transparent spindle brushings.
DISC - VG
This still remains in fairly good shape with just a few light hairline scratches and slight loss of rainbow sheen. No skips & no heavy scratches. Nice thick platter free of warps.
