                HARD MEAT

\                                       USA - Warner Brothers - 1852 - white label promo

1969 RARE WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL Original first pressing in striking psyched-out silver/grey gatefold cover...

White label promo albums from the sixties & early 70's (the good ones) have all but vanished into private collections ...collectors have long hunted them as they were limited pressings and the first to be pressed off the freshly cut master, retaining the *best* sound quality.

Hard Meat made two albums of hard to melodic blends of psych rock with strong acid leads. This lost trio from England made two albums that tend to be overlooked and buried. A solid score for fans of the psych and garage genre looking for something strong that has not yet spiraled into heavy $$ value but is much better than many Lp's that are more valued as such. The first HARD MEAT album mostly shifts between semi hard rockers with psych ingredients centered on strong flavored self penned tunes within stretched out tunes...try 'em both, you should be pleasantly surprised ... when the general fan-core of psych latches on, it'll be a delayed reaction into orbit, or thereabouts.
