The Whatnauts - Whatnauts on the Rocks Original Japanese WLP With Mint Insert, No Obi (did it ever have one?) Vinyl: NM/NM- Sleeve: VG+ Philips RJ 7096
Up for grabs is one from the personal collection. A very nice copy of the rare soul album from The Whatnauts. This is the first pressing japanese WLP. Insert is mint, original inner sleeve. Record looks pretty much unplayed. Sounds killer too. I played it with headphones and I give it a NM/NM-. Japanese vinyl of this era can take on any audiophile pressing plant today.
I don't know if this ever had an obi. Discogs and Popsike don't show it on the WLP.
Cover has some slight rubs on corners, a ghost of some ringwear, but there is a straight line crease along the bottom edge of the front. See pic.
