• The ULTRA MEGA RARE -- private AUSTIN texas -- DEMO FOLK LP (with touches of PSYCH FOLK and COUNTRY FOLK) -- by HERMAN M. NELSON entitled SONGS FROM THE CATALOG OF SONOSONG MUSIC COMPANY (HERMAN M. NELSON, COMPOSER)!!

• 1968 independent MONO release on SONOBEAT RECORDS (HEC-285 M/HEC-286 M; AUSTIN, TEXAS).

• The RAREST of all albums in all genres released on SONOBEAT -- probably the first time ever on eBay!!

• Male vocals by JIM CHESNUT, HERMAN NELSON, and ALMA HARPER; absolutely terrific and haunting female vocals by KAROL PHELAN; guitars by JIM CHESNUT, HERMAN NELSON, and ALMA HARPER.

• HERMAN NELSON contributed to the 1970 MONSTER PSYCH LP by MARIANI on SONOBEAT, recorded the mega-collectible 1969 PSYCH FOLK LP with BILL WILSON/MIKE WAUGH on SONOBEAT, and also helped pen the COLD SUN/dark shadows/BILL MILLER composition RA-MA.

• Vinyl PLAYS at an overall VG with light surface noise/light static/light ticks throughout and occasional clicks and pops (BUT, the first track on SIDE 1 has a SKIP and some distortion at a few points so the grade for this track is definitely less than VG; it should be noted that the majority of SONOBEAT albums play with light surface noise as it seems this is how they were pressed); visually, vinyl is VG to VG+ (light hairlines and scuffings on each side); clean labels are EXCELLENT; cover is VG (includes tape along upper seam; contains the ALMOST-NEVER-SEEN original song sheets taped to the back as well as the SIGNATURE INITIAL BJ written by the very founder of SONOBEAT RECORDS himself, BILL JOSEY!).
