Description

Excellent, guaranteed original, 1964 MINNESOTA Private-Pressing Surf/Garage/Folk LP by THE DE LA SALLE (High School) CHORUS entitled "Sounds Of The Sixties" on Kay Bank Records (#4426, Mono). Here's the skinny on this ULTRA-RARE album! Very similar to the YETTI-MEN album release: one side of the record is pretty tame Folk covers... turn it over and that all changes! Killer crude Surf instrumental cover of the Surfaris "Point Panic," followed by the incredible original Garage Proto-Punk "My Little Girl," super raw Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There," then two rockin' covers of "Money" and "Twist And Shout!" Condition: Cover = solid VG+ (light wear, no seam splits, name written in the lower right hand corner), Record = solid VG/VG+ (very light paper scuffs - plays through fine though!).
