Description
Prince. Still so hard to say his name, and at a time when we're still reeling from the passing of other amazing artists (BOWIE!). Such a loss, so early, so sudden. A master of all he surveyed, a teacher, an inspiration, a musician for the ages. Heartbreaking loss. So, for those of you who need to hear virgin vinyl by this legend, ORIGINAL virgin vinyl, I am giving up my own personal SEALED copy of "1999" with rare hype sticker. This IS ORIGINAL VINYL, NOT a reissue, and with this particular Hype sticker fixed to the front, it is presumed to be a first edition. This has the "PRINCE Specially-Priced Two Record Set **1999**" hype sticker. A later hype sticker may have advertised the hits on here: "Delirious", the classic title track, "Automatic", or "Little Red Corvette". The vinyl is obviously perfect mint, and the cover has been marked down to Very Good Plus only because there is a small piece of plastic missing front top right, where the corner has been bent as well, along with an inch or so split at mid-opening edge. There are also a few marks on the plastic that do not go through to the cover, and a small amount of ring wear that looks as if its on the plastic only as well. I'm seeing now there is a corner poking out just a bit at the top of the spine. Otherwise, this is a VIRGIN VINYL copy of Prince's double LP, his first true masterpiece, "1999". As a free gift, I will also include a copy of Rolling Stone Magazine's Prince cover photo'd issue #1261. GET IT WHILE U CAN! I hope it helps with the healing.
