PRINCE & THE NEW POWER GENERATION Paisley Park Warner Bros 962-45037-1 UK: 490 1992 2LP 1st Pressing Matrix Nos: WMME ALsdorf 936 245037-1-A X, WMME ALsdorf 936 245037-1-B XX, WMME ALsdorf 936 245037-1-C X, WMME ALsdorf 936 245037-1-D XX.
The first pressing of the LOVE SYMBOL album. The glossy cover is in excellent condition. It has the Warner Bros. logo embossed on the back, which is difficult to photograph, and has a nice strong spine. Although you can see the record shape there isn't any ring wear. The vinyl is in excellent condition: no scratches, sticks jumps or warps. On side 1 there is a small scuff mark at the start of the first track, and on side 3 there is a mark which I can't identify, but I have listened to all four sides on headphones and I can't hear any faults or deterioration in the excellent sound quality. The labels are spotlessly clean with only a few spindle marks (see pictures). The inner sleeves are actually white, not as dark as the pictures and don't have any tears or splits.
