Description

This is a very rarely seen Prince UK 7" single with a normal picture sleeve rather than the poster version which was the normal release of this single.

The single wasn't selling brilliantly at the time so after they had ran out of poster covers they only printed a very small batch of these non-poster covers before stopping. Only 150 were actually issued (according to UPTOWN magazine, who are usually correct in these matters) mainly to Woolworth's stores apparently.

The condition of  the record is mint and the sleeve is excellent with the slightest of creases at the back of the sleeve at the top (visible in the second picture). I have seen this item for sale by a Prince dealer recently for nearly two hundred pounds.

I bought this from Woolworths in my local town when it appeared, so I know it is genuine. A very scarce item for anyone's Prince UK 7" collection.

This is one of the Prince items in my very large collection that I am slowly selling. I have also just listed the very scarce German cd sinle promo of the unreleased track 'Poem' to promote the COME album, and the very rare Japanese SYNDICATE 7" promo.
