On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Pretty Things called "S.F.Sorrow" and is a 1969 UK Pressing on the RAREST EVER UK Columbia label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY THE PRETTY THINGS RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  1968 1ST PRESSINGS ON THE 'BLUE/BLACK' COLUMBIA LABEL TURN UP FAIRLY REGULARLY (AND SOLD A GOOD FEW THOUSAND COPIES - MOSTLY IN COMMON MONO!), AND LATER PRESSINGS (FROM 1970/71) ON THE 'TWO BOX' EMI COLUMBIA LABEL ARE VERY VERY COMMON INDEED!!!!  HOWEVER, THIS IS THE ALL TIME RAREST UK PRESSING EVER MADE (STILL WITH 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!) - WITH ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES EVER BEING MADE IN MID 1969 ONLY (SHOWN BY THE ULTRA RARE 'ONE BOX' EMI ON THE LABELS - WHICH ONLY EVER LASTED A FEW WEEKS BEFORE IT WAS CHANGED!)!!!!

THIS LP IS ALSO INCREDIBLY SOUGHT AFTER - AS IT IS PRESSED WITH THE FAR BETTER STEREO 1ST PRESS MIX!!!!  AND DESPITE MANY PEOPLE 'RAVING' ABOUT THE MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP, THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE LATE 1960s LP WHERE THE STEREO 1ST PRESS MIX IS INFINITELY BETTER THAN THE MONO VERSION!!!!  HAVING SPOKEN TO A BAND MEMBER MYSELF - I ALSO KNOW THE MAIN INPUT WAS PUT INTO THE STEREO MIX OF THIS LP (WHICH IS WHY IT SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE MONO VERSION!) WHEREAS THE MONO WAS SIMPLY CONTRACTED OUT FOR PRESSING TO ISLAND (WHICH IS WHY MONOs HAVE 'TEXTURED' LABELS!) WHEREAS ONLY STEREOs WERE EVER PRESSED BY EMI/COLUMBIA THEMSELVES DIRECTLY FROM THE MASTERS!!!!  AND THIS 'MID 1969' RAREST EVER PRESSING, STILL HAS THE 1ST PRESS MIX (WITH 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!) - AND IS EVEN RARER THAN THE MONO 1ST PRESSINGS ANYWAY!!!!  AND WITH THE ULTRA RARE 'ONE BOX' EMI ON THE LABELS - THIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE, AS ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES WERE EVER PRESSED!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - WITH AN AWESOME RECORD FOR ONCE!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK STEREO 'RAREST EVER' PRESSING ON THE 'SILVER/BLACK' COLUMBIA LABEL, STILL WITH 1ST PRESS 1/1 STEREO MATRIX ENDINGS & 1ST PRESS 1/1 MOTHERS, RAREST EVER 'ONE BOX' EMI LABELS, STILL WITH ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SCX 6306 on the ORIGINAL Columbia label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK Stereo Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from a TINY 'touched in' trace around 1 centre hole!), NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 'E.J.Day' Gatefold Laminated Stereo Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from an almost INVISIBLE 'touched in' trace!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), NO rips, NO tears, shiny laminate, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, only 1 small 'L' shaped indentation towards the top right, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
