Record Details - Sleeve itself is in VG condition with only a couple of minor issues. The sleeve has no major or worrying concerns. Front of sleeve has some creases in the lamination as shown in the pictures. All of the text and graphics are bright and legible. Creases in lamination are mainly confined to the edge of the sleeve with a larger crease at the front left of the sleeve. All 4 corners of the sleeve are intact with some wearing on the bottom left corner. The spine of the sleeve is intact with some signs of wearing in the lamination, the text on the spine is legible and clear.
Gatefold element of sleeve is intact and all text and graphics are bright and clear. Some wearing on the top fold of the Gatefold as shown in the picture.
The rear of the sleeve is in better condition than the front with less creases in the lamination and less signs of wearing. All 4 corners are in tact with some slight wearing to the lamination on the bottom left corner (as shown in the picture).
Both front and back of sleeve are bright, bold and the lamination still has that 'sheen'.
The record itself plays through with no issues or concerns and is graded at VG, it has a clear sound throughout. Side 1 has surface marks that in no way affect playing or sound. Label on Side 1 has spindle marks as shown on picture. Side 2 has surface marks that in no way affect playing or sound. Label on Side 2 has spindle marks (less than side 1) as shown on picture.
I have used the Rare Record Guide grading system to grade the overall condition of both the sleeve and the record itself.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding.
