For sale here is a VERY rare 45 / 7" ...(especially in this condition) by PRETTY THINGS called "PRIVATE SORROW / BALOON BURNING And is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press COLUMBIA label.THIS 45 IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS ONE OF PRETTY THINGS RAREST 45's EVER, AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS 45 IS IN SUPERB CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1968 1st PRESSING ON THE 1st PRESS COLUMBIA LABEL. 1st PRESS  MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS COLUMBIA COMPANY SLEEVE ...THIS 45 IS MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL COLUMBIA UK 1st pressing from 1968 and is in SUPERB condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. is DB 8494 the 1st press COLUMBIA label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK 1st Pressing..

Labels are the sensational black/silver COLUMBIA format in excellent condition!!!. With the silver COLUMBIA logo above the central holes on both labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has some very minor spindle lines to indicate that this has possibly only been played a handful of times!!! with NO damage of any kind. NO graffiti, NO rips NO tears, and in excellent condition.!!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks, NO scratches or scuffs and absolutley NO blemishes whatsoever!!!!! Only 2 or 3 tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!!. A remarkable visual and impossible to locate  in this in this condition! and would therefore grade as near as mint!!!

my records are condition graded visually in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

MINT (M): Unplayed, pristine condition, often still sealed.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in almost brand new condition with no apparent surface marks, full original vinyl lustre, and no deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items are in near perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and/or packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record obviously has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and/or scratches. The cover and/or contents may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine-splits, major discolouration, etc.

Whilst I endeavour to dispatch items as quickly as possible after payment has been received and/or cleared, please allow up to 14 days for delivery (21 days if overseas) before reporting non-receipt. You will, however, nearly always receive your goods much quicker than this as I post-out at twice  a week, usually on a Tuesday and Friday. Items paid for by the Wednesday evening will normally catch that same week's dispatch; where payment has not been received by the Friday there may be an additional delay.
